Access Rights allow you to determine which
employees can clock at which clocks. It also determines some special
behavior which happens when the employee clocks.
Configuration
Configuration is done in the Hardware module. Access Rights are created
as a Set. Each set has contains a list of all the clocks, and a set of
rights for each clock. These sets are the assigned to the employees.
The Access Rights are:
-
In?
If this is set to Yes then employees,
which are assigned to this set, can clock In at this clock.
-
Out?
If this is set to Yes then employees,
which are assigned to this set, can clock Out at this clock.
-
Lock?
If this is set to Yes then an
employee using this set will Lock the clock when he clocks Out, and
unlock the clock when he clocks In. It's recommended that you don't
assign more than 1 employee to a set that contains a Lock set to Yes. If
in doubt this option should be set to No for all the devices.
-
Door?
If this is Yes the electronic door lock will be triggered when the
employee clocks In or Out. Most of the time this option will be set to
Yes for all the clocks.
As you scroll up and down the list of
clocks you will see a graphic of the clock's position on the right hand
side. For information on setting the graphic see the Access Control –
Device Options document.
