Starting the TNA 2000 Reports Engine
To start the TNA 2000 Report Engine, click
on the Window's Start button, go to Programs / TNA 2000
and select the Scheduled Reports program option. The
TNA 2000 Report
Engine Setup window will be displayed.

When the Report Engine has started and
is running on
the computer, it will appear as a small icon in the system tray. For
Example;
=

If you click on
this icon with your mouse then the TNA 2000 Report Engine Options
window will be displayed.
Tip: It
is recommended that a shortcut to this program be added to the Window's
Start-menu and will result in this application automatically starting
every time the computer is started. The file location is normally:
C:\Program Files\TNA2000\repeng32.exe.
Configuring the TNA 2000 Web Reports Option
When the TNA 2000 Report Engine window is displayed, select the
Options tab and then select the Activate Web Engine to be
active (when active will be display with a
ü in the
box). Set the Web Server Port to the required port number. The
default web server port is 80. However if there is another Web Server
running on this machine then 80 is probably not available. In that
case use a port number like 8080 or 8088. Minimize the window.
Configuring Reports for Web Viewing
Go to the Report Module and at
the Update Reports
Default Parameters window for a particular report that is to
be viewed via the Web Browser, select the Format tab and set
the Web option in the Category area to be active.
Viewing Web Reports
To view Web Reports, open your Web
Browser and type in the computer
Name
or IP address where the TNA 2000 Report Engine has been installed and
is running.
If you have the
machine name (for example Daisy) and the port number (for
example 8088) then enter the following in your browser;
http://daisy:8088
you should then
see the login screen appear.
If you only have the
IP number (for example 192.168.2.34) and the port number (for
example 8088) then use;
http://192.168.2.34:8088
If (and only if)
the port number is set to 80 then you can call it without the port
number. For example;
http://daisy
When the Login
page appears enter User Name and Password and then
select the
Ok button.
The Browse Reports page will then be displayed. Select which
report you wish to view and then click on the Print button and
the Report Options page will be displayed. Type in the From
and To Dates for when the report is to be generated. Select the
Employee or Group of Employees for whom the report is to
be generated using the appropriate buttons.
Click on
the Start button. Once the relevant data has been retrieved,
the report will be displayed in the browser window. Use the Close
button at the bottom of the report to close the window.
Technical Information
Up to 60 users can simultaneously view
