Power Supply

All devices require a 12V-18V DC power supply. The current required depends on the options used. The following table shows the various options, and the power they consume. (These numbers are measured using a 15V power supply)

CapeClock 32 / 128 / 256

Basic (no readers) 160 mA
Dim Backlighting + 40 mA
Bright Backlighting + 100 mA
Barcode reader + 30 mA
682-10 GSC Wiegand reader + 60 mA
30387 HID Wiegand reader + 30 mA
GSC Proximity reader + 40 mA
Keypad + 5 mA
Dallas Tag Reader + 40 mA
Fingerprint Reader - Identify + 170 mA
Fingerprint Reader - Verify + 330 mA

Example : Clock with 2 barcode readers, and bright backlighting =
160 + 30 + 30 + 100 = 320 mA

CapeDoor 128 / 256

Basic (no readers) 155 mA
Barcode reader + 30 mA
682-10 GSC Wiegand reader + 60 mA
30387 HID Wiegand reader + 30 mA
GSC Proximity reader + 40 mA
Keypad + 40 mA
Dallas Tag Reader + 40 mA
Fingerprint Reader - Identify + 170 mA
Fingerprint Reader - Verify + 330 mA

Controller

Basic (no readers) 70 mA
Dim Backlighting + 40 mA
Bright Backlighting + 100 mA

Junction Box

Basic 60 mA

Output Switch Ratings (Relay Ratings)

Check these ratings before attaching the clocks to Sirens, or Electronic locks, or other external devices (via the Relays).
