In large organizations it can be
advantageous to keep a record of employees that have been terminated
(fired), that must not be re-hired at that, or any other, branch. TNA
2000 provides support for this via the Blacklisting feature.
To
Blacklist an Employee
-
Open the User module, go to the Query-or-Edit
menu and select Employee Blacklist. Add the employee in the
normal way to this list. Note that the ID Number is used to identify the
employee. You MUST enter an ID Number, and it's recommended that you use
some form of National Identity Number here. (For example in South Africa
this would be the govt. issued ID Number.
- Additional fields available here include
Reference, and Reason. These can be used so that the paperwork for this
blacklisting can be traced in the company records.
- Note : In order for the Blacklist
detection to work you MUST enter the ID Number for each employee,
and maintain this list as new employee's are added.
Blacklisted Employees
Report
This report has only one option, Only
Current. If this option is on, then only Blacklisted Employees, who
are currently employed, will appear on the report. If this option
is off then all blacklisted employees will appear.
Auto-Watch
When any of the modules is Started it will
automatically look through the Blacklist to see if any employees, with
the same ID numbers, are currently employed. If they are then a message
will appear BlackList Report Recommended.
