Improved Leave and Holiday support : Phase 1

Applicable version : 2.35d and later (Note : See Tech18.Doc for Phase 2 improvements)

Summary :
Support has been added (and fixed where necessary) to support;

A) User Definable Leave Types

B) Employee Annual Leave, and Annual Sick Leave amounts

C) Hours reports have been modified so the >clockings= (displayed as I-8:00 O-16:00 etc) now include the leave type, and leave reason.

D) New Leave report has been added.

Requirements :
Must have at least version 2.35d installed.

Method:
A) Use the Config Module. Employee Setup menu. Leave Types option.  You can define leave types. You can set if the leave type affects Annual Leave, Sick Leave, both or neither.

B) Enter the Employee Leave allocations on the normal Update Employee screen. The items are on the Employment Record tab.  You can also use the Bulk Employee Update feature (User Module, Bulk Menu) to set allocations for groups of employees.

C) Nothing to do. The change is automatically included in this release.

D) In the Ser235d service release, the new reports are included as TNR files. These need to be imported before they can be used.  In version 2.36 and later these reports are included in the Reports files.

Limitations:
A) The Leave year is assumed to start on Jan 1st.  In some companies this may not be the case. Setting of this item is scheduled for phase 2. (Implemented in Ver 2.37)

B) Currently no way of quickly checking Leave Used / Leave Available for an employee. Scheduled for phase 2. (Implemented in Ver 2.37)
